In conjunction with the annual Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk, Catholic Human Services welcomes walkers of all ages to join Bishop Walsh as he walks 5 miles across the Mighty Mac. This event is one day and includes walking, socializing, and the opportunity to interact with Bishop Walsh directly. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and money for CHS programs.

People of all ages and demographics that live in Northern Michigan and have an interest in participating in a new twist on a long-standing Michigan tradition are welcome to join Bridging Hope. These individuals are members of various communities with various discretionary income levels.

Bridging Hope receives exposure through:

• 350 site visitors to the Bridging Hope sub-page as part of Catholic Human Services website

• Web page as part of Kindful fundraising site

• Social Media promotion to 511 followers

• Paid Facebook Advertising with reach of over 15,000
